The Muslim Association of Woodstock is a spiritual home dedicated to fostering a vibrant Islamic community through education, service, and devotion.
The Muslim Association of Woodstock is a not-for-profit, multi-cultural organization driven by a single goal: to make Woodstock and Oxford County a better place for all. We support and give voice to our worshipers to engage within the wider community and facilitate prayer, cultural, and interfaith activities.
Our community has grown significantly over the past fifty years. The first members arrived from Eastern Europe, East Africa, and the Middle East, building lives in small-town Ontario. Founded in 1982 and reformed in 2009, we now actively participate in the social life of our town.
A Historic Milestone In 2026, the association officially purchased and established our permanent Masjid at 690 Sutherland Dr, Woodstock, ON N4S 4Y5.
We are in the business of changing and shaping lives through a holistic approach, serving all communities irrespective of faith, gender, and ethnicity.

Islam is the continuation of the original message of monotheism revealed through a lineage of prophets.
We believe in the one God (Allah) and the chain of prophets starting from Adam, including Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus, culminating in the final Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
Revealed to Prophet Muhammad over 23 years, the Quran encompasses all the wisdom given to previous Prophets while offering further spiritual insights.
The declaration of faith in Allah and His messenger.
Establishing the five daily ritual prayers.
Giving a portion of wealth to those in need.
Fasting during the holy month of Ramadan.
The pilgrimage to Mecca if able.
Guided by a dedicated board committed to the growth, transparency, and sustainability of our association.
